The ACTSSCA takes out third party insurance cover. This protects against any costs associated with accidental injury to spectators or passers by.
Individual player insurance must be purchased separately at $37.50 a player for the whole season.
This insurance is optional and provides protection for some direct costs of injury and for some loss of income associated with injury.
